It's a rarity to find a hostel with a multilingual staff! All the staff I interacted with spoke English, Portuguese, Spanish and French very well.At the bar there is a good variety of local beers for an affordable price and the attendant is super friendly! Colomiers is a very calm place, isolated from traffic noise but accessible by public transport to Toulouse.Accessible, calm, good service and cheap! I recommend!
As the name suggests, friendly!Respect and thanks to Nancy for her welcome, her sympathy and her professionalism. An intentional and interesting host.A bed in a spacious girls' room with shower and toilet in the top bedroom + balcony! If I come back to the area I will definitely come back!
We only stopped to eat to conclude our stay, the restaurant takes shape in a rustic atmosphere with a very pleasant smell of wood fire, reviving the nostalgia of an increasingly distant childhood. The waitress is pleasant, smiling, the service was fast.I took a breaded hake accompanied by homemade fries. The hake was perfectly cooked, the breading crispy and fine enough to taste it without being disgusted by it.The homemade fries are hot, crispy on the outside and melting on the inside, we don't expect more, it's perfect. The waitress advised us to eat inside rather than outside given the 35 degrees at 6:30 p.m. The room is air-conditioned, comfortable. A sober but effective decoration, which has its charm. The music is not too loud and varied, visually, the bar blends poorly with the main theme, but it remains beautiful and comfortable.I recommend to come and eat quietly one evening under the Toulouse sun.
Very friendly and collaborative staff. Happy to repeat. My third time here and still recommended. They even put a charging station for electric vehicles, I could charge my motorcycle for free during the night! Extremely happy
I'm a little biased because I know the owner but I didn't know the chef (lovely person and he makes a mean cassoulet) or the lovely couple who work on reception and in the restaurant. The auberge is well-placed for access to Toulouse and beyond -- I stayed here before and after flying to and from Morocco. I was able to get to the airport and back by public transportation (L2 bus and T2 tram), even on the way back when I landed in Toulouse just before midnight on a Saturday night.
Very welcoming and friendly. I didn’t stay for food, but it looked good. After I left I got stung by a bee and headed back to remove the sting. They were really helpful and got the sting out for me and gave me ice and offered me all sorts of kind gestures. Thanks guys!!
Good wifi, clean nice big rooms, peaceful location. Reminds me of hostels I've stayed in, in Australia. We were so happy to be received with such a warm welcome by the lovely American proprietor when we arrived, weary after a long day and a car break-in. She and her daughter were very helpful and soothing and helped us do what we needed to get the police report done.We also had some useful-to-me chat about other things that we needed to know about living in Toulouse. This auberge is nice and friendly every time we walk through the door, and peaceful when we're in our room. Good wifi.I love the trees and the birds singing outside our window and I liked the good strong coffee in an American-style coffee maker in the morning! The rooms are nice and bright and the beds are comfy and they even do laundry if they have time and you ask nicely. :) We're really happy that we landed here. It's nice having a big lounge where you can talk to other travellers too.
I rarely write reviews about anything, but this place I actually really liked alot it has a really great homely feel to it, lots of amenities. Everything up to par. I would happily stay here and again and recommend it highly to anyone who visits Toulouse.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's a little out of the way from central Toulouse, but a nice little village with super friendly locals. Definitely recommend staying here (plus a local boules practice 2 minutes away)
